This was a very challenging, complicated and difficult process to navigate and there is no way I could have done it without her professional expertise and persistence. The mortgage company was a large, impersonal corporation with understaffed and underpaid agents handling way too many mortgages. Each time we called we would get a different person who was completely unfamiliar with my mortgage. They lost my paperwork, couldn’t find my paperwork, would transfer my paperwork to another department…….and yet another department and each time assign a new person who had no idea what the last person had done. It was a nightmare. We had to submit my paperwork (all 40 or so pages) not once, not twice, but eight times over the course of one year before the short sale was finally approved.
